Puti Maacher Tok

Ingredients:

300gm puti fish
2tbsp tamarind Paste
2tbsp ginger and garlic Paste
50gm Mustard Oil
1tbsp Turmeric Powder
3-4 Green Chillies
1tbsp Red chilli Powder
1 Chopped Onion
1 Sliced Lemon
1 chopped Tomato
Chopped Coriander Leaves

Instructions:

1. Marinate the fish with 2 tbsp oil,1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp turmeric powder.

2. Add oil in the frying pan. Fry the fish and keep it aside.

3. Add chopped onion, 1 table spoon sugar, chopped tomato, 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp red chilli powder in the pan. Add tamarind paste in that , 3-4 green chillies add little water.

4. Stir it for some time. Add Chopped Coriander Leaves in that. Garnish it with slice onion and slice lemon. Puti Maacher Tok is ready to serve with steam rice.

Serve it hot with rice.
